Florida Smart ID LE Verifier by Thales is the official app for Law Enforcement officers to authenticate a Florida Smart ID for proof of identity and driving privileges.

After downloading, officers can launch the Florida Smart ID LE Verifier on their smart device to verify the identity and/or driving privileges of citizens using their Florida Smart ID. Simply ask the citizen to select Law Enforcement Verification on their Florida Smart ID, and then scan the QR code displayed on the citizen’s smart device. Although Florida Smart ID by Thales is an official credential offered by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, it does not replace the physical Florida driver license. Florida law requires carrying the physical driver license when operating a motor vehicle.
